How It Works

Learn How Our Pickup and Delivery Technology Works

• The driver’s stops are uploaded to their phone at the beginning of each day. These stops can come from Synergy Dispatch or your system.
• At a Delivery Stop, the driver can Deliver All, or note exceptions on a per-Pro basis. The name of the person receiving the freight is recorded.
• At a Pickup Stop, the driver records Pro pieces, weight, and destination zip for each pro.
• As new pickups are called in, the dispatcher sends them to the driver, where they appear on the phone, requiring an acknowledgement.
• Communication can be initiated from the driver or dispatcher using built-in messaging.
• All information recorded at a stop is sent back to dispatch. This gives you real-time status of each shipment for proof of delivery, as well as a head start on outbound planning, which can be accomplished with our Line haul Planning module.
• The position of the driver is recorded at preset intervals using the built-in GPS function in the phone. With our optional SynMaps™ software the drivers’ positions can be displayed on maps and their routes recorded for later review.
